The MA-h Harmonic Actuator is a robotic actuator that integrates a brushless motor, a harmonic reducer and the MD series controller with an embedded absolute encoder. It can also be equipped with an additional absolute output encoder and an electromagnetic brake, as well as being housed in an IP66 sealed enclosure. This design ensures exceptional accuracy and repeatability with zero backlash, making it ideal for applications requiring precise positioning. The actuator provides high torque density - it manages demanding loads while maintaining a compact size. The actuator is characterized by low backdrivability and exceptional stiffness. Additionally, the high durability of the harmonic reducer ensures a long lifespan. While the system may be more costly, its outstanding capabilities justify the investment. The downside of such a system is low backdriveability. This makes the MA-h Harmonic Actuator an excellent choice for mobile robotics applications where high torque density and precision are crucial.

Robotic arms
